01

Inspection & Testing

What happens during a mould inspection?
An inspector reviews visible conditions, moisture patterns and areas of concern. Thermal imaging and moisture meters may be used to locate hidden dampness, with air or surface samples collected when laboratory analysis is appropriate.
How long does a mould inspection take?
Most residential inspections take around one to two hours, depending on the size of the property and the number of areas being assessed. Larger commercial properties may require additional time.
Do I need air-quality testing?
Air-quality testing can be useful when there is a persistent damp smell, unexplained respiratory irritation or concern about mould that cannot be seen. We recommend sampling only when it will add useful evidence.
Can you find mould hidden behind walls?
Non-invasive tools such as thermal imaging and moisture meters can identify conditions that suggest hidden moisture or mould. In some cases, further targeted investigation may be recommended.
02

Reports & Results

What is included in the inspection report?
Your report includes photographs, observed conditions, moisture readings, relevant thermal findings, laboratory results when sampling is completed, and clear recommendations for remediation or further action.
How quickly will I receive my report?
Inspection findings are prepared promptly. Where laboratory testing is required, results are generally available within two to three business days before the final report is completed.
Will the report explain what to do next?
Yes. Reports are written in clear language and include practical recommendations based on the findings, helping you understand priorities and the appropriate next step.
Can reports be used for rentals or property purchases?
Our reports provide documented evidence that may assist homeowners, renters, property managers and buyers. Any specific legal or contractual use should be discussed with the relevant property professional.
